It's not what you do,
it's the way that you do it!

A Different Way to move, to  think, to live, WELL.

Welcome. My name is Fiona and I teach the Alexander Technique.

Alexander Technique is many things. It is a way of learning to be more efficient with your energy.  It is mindfulness in activity. It is using yourself as a whole - head to toe, body and mind. It is a posture improver, a performance enhancer, a pain management tool, a stress reducer. It is a valuable tool everyone can involve in their life for their own reasons.

BACK TO SCHOOL
Summer is heading for Autumn and it's time to think of what will spark your interest as the evenings close in. Would you like to know more about your body and how it works? Would you like to learn tools that will help you deal with pain, tension, stresses and strains or simply connect you back into your body to rediscover how you work. See EVENTS for courses starting  WEDNESAY SEPTEMBER 1st.

COME BACK in September to see my new clean super website which is currently being designed by the experts at KOOBA. New features and easy navigation promised, as well as a blog where I will share all my fascinating ideas and theories on body movement, life and habits.

In 2008 results of a scientific trial on chronic back pain were published by the British Medical Journal. It showed how successful the Alexander Technique is in longlasting results and value for money. Check the research here. Scroll down the linked page to see a 12 minute video explaining the research. More recently Victoria Beckham brought a bit of glamour to the technique.

It is clear to me that people need this work. The collective conciousness is rising and people are seeking information to help themselves, for health, for transparency, for self sustainability.
That's what this work has given me and what I repeatedly give to myself. This is my wish for you

WALK IN THE PARK with me.  I am inviting you to walk with me. The curious, the slow, the injured, the stressed, the happy and the healthy. Come along and walk with me. Tuesdays and Thursdays - St Stephens Green. See Events for more.
